Sensex jumps 500 points this week, Nifty ends above 5200

A strong rally in energy and metals stocks helped the index to compare the Nifty close above 5200 marks a crucial Friday. Sensex advanced 156.80 points, or 0.92% to end at 17,233.98.

Weekly Indian indices were compared among the best performers in Asia. Nifty jumped 156 points or 3% this week, the Sensex added 495 points week in four trading sessions.

Analysts attributed the global revival in domestic and feelings of more than 10 percent of the first three weeks to move the 2012th

"Move a little confused ... Globally, investors have become less concerned about the global situation panning out ... at home, has addressed concerns about interest rates ... even the policy front, there have been some further changes. ... .. Technical analysts were bullish. However, there were words of caution too.

"Markets are at a crossroads ... a pullback is coming, but we have to wait to see if it will break or support. International problems are cropping up - Baltic Dry Index has led to Greece and Portugal are the new ... I do not think the problem could be solved .. . While local issues are resolved, the troubles will hurt international markets, "said Jai Bala Money Chaos.

Energy (2.7%), metals (1.9%) and Italy (1.7%) were the major sectoral gainers are the Bombay Stock Exchange today. Among individual movers, Reliance Industries (3.7%) was the largest contributor, adding 60 points to the Sensex index.

Many stocks in the back of strong Q3 numbers. Sesa Goa (7%) were the top Nifty Gainer is now on the back of stronger than expected volume growth in Q3, L & T (3.8%) expanded on the back of a strong benefit to the influx of Q3.

Ranbaxy (down 6.5%) was the top loser the index after analysts said the Nifty has the consent of the U.S. Department of Justice on behalf of the FDA had a much worse effect on the company than previously perceived. BHEL (down 3%) ended in the lower front of the Q3 numbers. Analysts were expecting the company to see the influx of instructions below.

Realty (down 2.2%) remained in the broader stock market, and have seen profit booking today. DLF (down 3.5%) was one of the big losers in the Nifty index.

The market breadth was positive in nearly 65 percent of the stock rises, the broader BSE 500 index.
